What 5G actually improves
The most visible strength of 5G is much higher download speed than 4G under ideal conditions. Downloading a movie or a large file can finish in a flash instead of a few minutes. But peak speed is only part of the story.
The quieter but more important improvement is low latency and the ability to serve many devices at once. In crowded places like a stadium or a festival, 4G often congests, while 5G keeps a more stable connection thanks to far greater capacity.

In the early stages, 5G often uses more battery than 4G, especially when the phone constantly switches between the two networks in unstable coverage. This has improved over chip generations, but is still worth noting.
